Jackie returns from the US, after securing a release date with US label BeanBag1 and Burnside Distribution for June 17th for the release of her album Crazy Love. In support of her release, a national tour is currently being put into place including supporting Phoebe Snow in July.

A bit about Edoardo - In 2006 Edoardo Santoni released his stunning debut album with his band at the time The Velvet Fog. Following an East Coast tour it was warmly received with great reviews and a nomination in the MusicOz awards for their single Blue Track & in 2007 they were feature artists with JJJ Unearthed. Now having launched himself as a solo artist he is now busy working on his solo debut album and performing with his new songs and band. Jackie a FINALIST in International Songwriting Competition
Jackie has just been announced as a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition (out of fifteen in each category, and over 15,000 entries worldwide) for her song The World Is Turning. Judges include Tom Waits, Julian Casablancas, Loretta Lynn, Macy Gray, Nelly Furtado, and music industry delegates include Monte Lipman, President Universal Records, Charlie Walk, President, Epic Records, Cameron Strang, President New West Records and many more.
"In addition to great prizes, ISC offers the unique opportunity to have your music heard by the most impressive group of judges from a variety of industry backgrounds in any songwriting competition.This makes ISC the songwriting competition to take note of." - New York Times
HAVE YOUR SAY! - All the finalists' songs will be posted online as part of The Peoples' Voice which allows the public to listen to and vote for their favorite song. This contest is in addition to, and completely separate from, the regular winners selected by the judges. Voting will be open on Tuesday, February 5th and will remain open until February 29.

International Folk Alliance 2008
Jackie has been invited to showcase at the International Folk Alliance held again this year in Memphis Feb 20-22 . With over 2000 members worldwide and an annual conference that is one of the five largest music conferences in North America, Folk Alliance continues to grow and mature while providing a unique range of member services to our community.

Crazy Love released in New Zealand
October 23rd saw the New Zealand release of Jackie's stunning album, Crazy Love. Crazy Love, which includes Bristow's latest single The World Is Turning, is a hauntingly beautiful collection of new material showcasing Bristow's alluring vocal ability and song-writing smarts. The video for The World Is Turning was produced and directed by Jasmin Tarasin, who was recently nominated for 'Best Video' at the IF Awards for Cold Heart Killer by Angie Hart.
